December 18--Hotrods---By Keely
This show was friggen awsome, the stage was so kewl and the bands were really good to! I loved the set up at hotrods and the lighting was amazing except for the fact Renia almost burst outlaughing when the disco ball came on and little white lights were shinning on everyone. We did amazing and felt so awsome after and plus the burlington post took our picture so we'll find out on wednesday if we made it in!! It would be soo awsome if we did! And look how important we are? we got backstage passes!!

Oh man..this was our first show together.. well i mean with me as the singer. Okay lets just say everything that could go wrong with our equipment, went wrong! When we got there our first major problem occurd when lucy went onstage for soundcheck, we heard a scream and were totally shocked to realise one part of the drum was set up UPSIDE DOWN! i mean COME ON!! When the other band went onstage though i think they fixed it or something. Next problem jess forgot a strap but that was solved by a really nice guy running home and getting one :) Just when we think okay lets breath Renia's guitar thingy broke *where u plug the cord in*. After us backing away (quickly from the red eared Renia) She fixed it. We thought okay we did soundcheak perfectly so we should be fine durring the concert.
But we werent...God GOD WE WERENT!!
I mean the thing is we did fine but more problems just kept happening for Renia Jess and Lucy. We got through the first two songs pretty good but for what was supposed to be the best (the finale) turned out to be the worst. Lucy's drum stick went flying across the stage, Someone screwed with Renia's amp and it shut off or something and Julians was way way to low And to top off this lovley experence Jess's patch cord broke. So yea our first concert together wasnt exactly the best BUT GOD HIGHSCHOOL ROCKS!!
